Decisions

My goal was to stay focused on love. I knew that was the most important decision I could make for myself and for my future.

I was new at this – new at thinking of life as something that could teach me, help me even when I felt so much pain.

I knew that the loving energy of God worked in mysterious ways and we were learning how to love despite the tremendous pain.

Treating someone with compassion and empathy takes much less effort than berating them and judging their choices.

I felt like I had a comrade – a partner – someone had my back. It took a village after all.

I sat down to write the most difficult letter of my life.

I couldn’t put my finger on it but I knew something about it was off.

Seemingly, for the second time in my life, Prince Charming had infiltrated my world in such a way that I appeared to be rescued

Again, time stopped. The whole of my world spun furiously around me while I simply sat there in a suspended dimension.

My internal warning sirens had started to run out of steam as the foundation of a relationship was evolving.
